Neon Drift - licence ==================== Neon Drift is a pseudo-3D arcade racer by Henrique Rocha Serrano (GitHub user henriquerochars), published at https://github.com/henriquerochars/neon-drift. Checked at commit 6aea9989d04effbc6d0c1d48d8b9670f11b38dca (2026-11-06). The repository has one licence per part (LICENSING.md, original text below): code, scenes, data and tools are MIT; the art (art/) and the music and sound effects (audio/) are Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. The art was generated with the PixelLab service (the author says its subscription terms let the subscriber use and license the results), the audio was synthesised by the author's own script (tools/audio/gen_audio.py), and the code was written by AI coding agents under the author's direction (CREDITS.md, below). This site's page says the game was made with AI assistance. Attribution required by CC BY 4.0, as given by the author: "Neon Drift art, Henrique Rocha Serrano, CC BY 4.0" "Neon Drift audio, Henrique Rocha Serrano, CC BY 4.0" Licence text: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode Changes made for this site (the patch and the build script are published next to the game): the ONLINE and QUIT buttons of the main menu are hidden (the online rooms need a game server; quitting only freezes a browser page), the game no longer forces its window size to 1280x720 in the browser (it overflowed the game frame and cropped the picture), and the data file physics.csv is renamed physics.data.txt (the Godot importer would otherwise leave it out of the exported game) with the path in src/data/balance.gd changed to match. The tests, tools, docs, the gdUnit4 test framework, the PixelLab source files (art/source) and the agent instruction files are not part of the exported game; the rest is as published by the author. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LICENSE (code: MIT) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MIT License Copyright (c) 2026 Henrique Rocha Serrano Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions: The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software. See [CONTRIBUTING.md](CONTRIBUTING.md). **Exported builds** (`tools/build.sh`) ship `LICENSE`, `ART_LICENSE`, `AUDIO_LICENSE` and [`THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md`](THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md), which carries the Godot Engine notice that every distributed Godot game must include. **Generated assets.** Art was generated with PixelLab under a paid subscription, whose terms let the subscriber use and license their generations.
