o.l.e.s.a. - licence ==================== o.l.e.s.a. - Guide the Symbols is a puzzle game made by Julien Letellier for Game Off 2024 and published at https://github.com/jletellier/olesa. Checked at commit 0b518d87eb035377a31f36e265a91e5fe41f9a4d (2025-05-11). The "Licensing" section of the README of the repository says (original text, complete): ### Licensing Code is licensed under MIT. Artwork is licensed under CC BY 4.0 [icons], unless otherwise stated below. ### Attributions - Developed in [Godot Engine](https://github.com/godotengine/godot) - Sprites created with [Aseprite](https://dacap.itch.io/aseprite) - Using sitelen pona by Sonja Lang, the creator of [toki pona](https://tokipona.org/) - Design of tutorial levels inspired by [Patrick's Parabox](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1260520/Patricks_Parabox/) - What a great game! ### Third-Party Assets - [UI sound effects](https://opengameart.org/content/51-ui-sound-effects-buttons-switches-and-clicks) by [Kenney Vleugels](https://www.kenney.nl) licensed CC0 - [UI Sound Effects Library](https://opengameart.org/content/ui-sound-effects-library) by Little Robot Sound Factory licensed CC-BY 3.0 - [Atmospheric Interaction Sound Pack](https://opengameart.org/content/atmospheric-interaction-sound-pack) by [legoluft](http://www.legoluft.de) licensed CC0 - [Atmospheric puzzles](https://opengameart.org/content/atmospheric-puzzles) by [legoluft](http://www.legoluft.de) licensed CC0 - [The Essential Retro Video Game Sound Effects Collection](https://opengameart.org/content/512-sound-effects-8-bit-style) by Juhani Junkala licensed CC0 - [Space ambient](https://opengameart.org/content/space-ambient) by Osmic licensed CC-BY 3.0 - [m5x7 font](https://managore.itch.io/m5x7) by Daniel Linssen licensed CC0 (The README shows the Creative Commons icons as two small images next to "CC BY 4.0"; the Aseprite, Godot and sitelen pona lines are quoted without their "Spoiler warning" wrapper.) The two music files of the game were checked against the original pages on 2026-10-28: assets/music/ville_seppanen.ogg = "Space ambient" (https://opengameart.org/content/space-ambient). The page lists the licence as CC-BY 3.0, the author as Osmic and the file ville_seppanen-1_g.mp3. The Ogg of the game carries the tags title "1 G...", artist "Ville Seppanen", date 2007, genre Ambient, and has the same length as that MP3 (600.03 s): it is the same track, converted to Ogg Vorbis. assets/music/summer.ogg = track "summer" of "Atmospheric puzzles" (krank_music.7z, menu/summer.ogg, https://opengameart.org/content/atmospheric-puzzles), licence CC0 on the page. The file of the game is byte for byte the one in the archive (sha256 c5d1266720395688a5f940a7ead3d33ae6d609e0152358c0f4de8c260e08623f). All eleven sound files were also matched by name with the packs of the credit list on 2026-10-28: Click_Soft_00, Click_Soft_01 and Click_Standard_03 are in the Little Robot Sound Factory library; rollover1 and switch15 in Kenney's UI SFX set; anchor_action, link, unlink and exit in legoluft's Atmospheric Interaction Sound Pack; sfx_sounds_impact11 and sfx_sounds_interaction22 in Juhani Junkala's collection. The images (characters, sprites, hints, palettes, logo) are the author's own artwork under CC BY 4.0, as the README says. What this site serves: the project exported by us for the web (HTML5/WebAssembly, no threads) with the official Godot 4.4.1 and its web export template (web_nothreads_release), Compatibility renderer, with the script build-olesa.sh and the preset olesa-export_presets.cfg (two builds in a row give the same bytes). The project itself is not changed: the code, scenes, images, sounds, music and font are those of the commit above (the music and sound files come from Git LFS and are checked by the sha256 of their pointers). The only additions are in the HTML page: a Content-Security-Policy that blocks connections to other sites, and a small script that loads index.wasm.gz (the same engine, compressed) and decompresses it in the browser. The preset of the author turned on the PWA mode and cross-origin isolation; ours turns both off. The source of the game, the preset, the script and the licence and COPYRIGHT.txt of Godot 4.4.1 are hosted next to the game.
