Pirate's Folly — licença

Pirate's Folly é um jogo homebrew para o Game Boy (um jogo novo, feito por um desenvolvedor
independente, não um lançamento comercial), de Spencer Churchill, escrito à mão em assembly SM83 com o
RGBDS em 2026. O jogo é software livre sob a licença MIT, reproduzida abaixo a partir do arquivo
LICENSE do repositório. Segundo o README, todo o código, os gráficos (tiles desenhados à mão e a fonte
3x5 em src/tiles.asm, as bordas do Super Game Boy em res/) e o tocador de som (src/sound.asm, sem
bibliotecas de terceiros) são do autor. A trilha são seis cantigas tradicionais de marinheiro, de
domínio público, arranjadas pelo autor: Drunken Sailor, Wellerman, Spanish Ladies, Blow the Man Down,
Rolling Home e Leave Her Johnny ("The shanties are public domain").

O que este site serve: uma ROM pirates_folly.gb compilada por nós a partir do commit ffae280 do
repositório oficial (https://github.com/splch/pirates-folly/tree/ffae280f41de2d0ee1bb7d6f02452dc85e7e885e),
sem alterações, com o RGBDS 1.0.3 (a versão que o CI do autor usa) e o script build-pirates-folly.sh.
O autor só publica a ROM num release "rolante" (tag latest, refeita a cada push); a nossa build é
idêntica byte a byte ao pirates_folly.gb dessa tag em 16/10/2026. Roda no emulador binjgb.

- **Music.** Six public-domain shanties — Drunken Sailor (title), Wellerman
  (sailing), Spanish Ladies (port), Blow the Man Down (battle), Rolling Home
  (victory), Leave Her Johnny (shipwreck) — on a hand-rolled 3-channel driver
  (pulse melody, pulse bass, noise percussion) with priority SFX.
