Super Mega Squid: Terror of the Deep - licence ============================================== Super Mega Squid: Terror of the Deep (https://github.com/rbourdon/super-mega-squid), checked at commit 5280dc8ada0f57bdebfdc504bc02691ea162007b (2026-09-26), is a physics arcade game by Rory Bourdon (Pause 9), a rewrite in TypeScript on Phaser 4 and Planck.js of a 2013 HaxeFlixel game. The whole repository is under the MIT licence (the LICENSE file below, Copyright (c) 2021 Rory Bourdon). Material in the game: - The art, the sound effects and the music come from the author's original 2013 build (README of the repository: "Original game (2013): Rory Bourdon / Pause 9. All art, sound effects and music come from the original build"); the other levels were drawn by the author's generator in the same style. All of it is part of the repository and so under the MIT licence, including the title music. - The font of the original, "Rocket Propelled" by Digital Graphic Labs, is not part of this build (we could not find a licence that allows redistributing it). It is replaced by Bangers (Copyright 2010 The Bangers Project Authors), under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (text below). - Phaser 4.2.1, Planck.js 1.5.0 and eventemitter3 (a dependency of Phaser) are bundled into the game's script and are under the MIT licence (texts below). Notes: the changes made for this site are the font (above) and the starting page (index.html), which now carries a rule that blocks any request to other sites.
