Western Road — licença
======================

Western Road é um jogo homebrew para o Game Boy Color (um jogo novo, feito por um desenvolvedor
independente, não um lançamento comercial), de Jeffrey Gensler, feito para a GB Compo 2025. O
repositório inteiro (código, arte em Aseprite e músicas em hUGETracker, todos do autor) é distribuído
sob a licença MIT, reproduzida abaixo.

O tocador de música é o hUGEDriver (https://github.com/SuperDisk/hUGEDriver), de SuperDisk e
colaboradores, dedicado ao domínio público (README: "hUGETracker and hUGEDriver are dedicated to the
public domain.").

O jogo foi compilado com o GBDK-2020 4.4.0. As bibliotecas do GBDK-2020 ligadas à ROM estão sob a GPLv2 com
exceção de ligação (linking exception), que não estende a GPL ao jogo; o próprio GBDK-2020 diz que a
ROM compilada não precisa trazer nenhum aviso de licença.

O que este site serve: uma ROM compo25.gbc compilada por nós a partir do commit 93c70f013bc84c9520048e7db6763303aa50ddd7
do repositório da GB Compo (https://github.com/gbcompo25/western-road-game), sem alterações, com o
GBDK-2020 4.4.0 e o script build-western-road.sh (o repositório não traz a ROM; o Makefile dele é de
Windows e o script só troca os caminhos do compilador). Roda no emulador binjgb.
