What the Road Brings - licence ============================== What the Road Brings is a pseudo-3D racing game by Lukas Holzbeierlein (Captain4LK), made for the 32-bit Spring Cleaning jam (April 2021). Project: https://codeberg.org/Captain4LK/what_the_road_brings and https://captain4lk.itch.io/what-the-road-brings Code: public domain under CC0 1.0 (the repository's LICENSE file, and the header of every source file). Two exceptions inside the code: src/ULK_fixed.* is also the author's own, offered under BSD-3-Clause or the Unlicense; src/lil.* is the LIL scripting language by Kostas Michalopoulos, under the zlib licence (header below). Graphics, sounds and music are third-party works, all listed in the README of the repository with their licences. All of them are CC0 except one: CREDIT (CC BY 3.0): the music of the race ("data/music/track0.ogg") is "RailJet / Long Seamless Loop" by Deceased Superior Technician (http://www.nosoapradio.us), https://opengameart.org/content/railjet-long-seamless-loop, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/). The file is the loop cut by qubodup ("Simple cut/mix for seamless loop by qubodup", as its tags say) from the original track; the game uses it as the author of the game packaged it, and we did not change it. What this site serves: the game compiled to WebAssembly from commit 1f80b288165a9cafa31b824dfaa68b6dfa2cd956 of the repository ("Most likely final jam version", 2021-04-10), with raylib 5.5 (zlib) and Emscripten 6.0.10. The data folder (images, sounds, music, the track script) is the "data" folder of the author's package on itch.io, unchanged. Our changes to the code, in a patch in the site's repository (src/FredGames.Bundler/Builds/what-the-road-brings/what-the-road-brings-fredygames.patch): IsMusicPlaying is called IsMusicStreamPlaying in the newer raylib; the title screen's "Quit" (which closed the window) reloads the page instead; the M key (fullscreen by resizing the window) is off, and the window is not resizable, because the page scales the picture itself.
