About the game
Sentence Post Office is a gentle typing game for a child who is learning to write sentences in English. Every letter in the game is a short sentence, and to deliver it you copy it into a letter box one character at a time. The game is strict in a friendly way: a wrong character stays where it is until you fix it, so a missing capital letter, a missing space or the wrong end mark simply cannot be sent. Nothing counts down, there are no scores to lose, and a correct retry clears the warning.
The little mail train and its animal friends, a fox, a bunny, a bear and a cat, wait at the other end of every route. When a letter is sent the train delivers it, the recipient reacts, and after every two different letters you earn a new stamp for your album.
Playing it here
Click Play, then press Play again inside the game. There are four paths with eight letters each. Big A teaches that a sentence starts with a capital letter, Space Bridge teaches a space between words, Stamp Shop teaches the full stop, the question mark and the exclamation mark, and Mail Run puts all three together with whole sentences, including two letters that arrive broken for you to fix before they are sent.
A picture above the keyboard shows which key comes next, including the Shift key for capitals and the space bar. The question mark button gives a hint if you are stuck. The speaker button turns the sound off, and the Grown-ups button opens a small panel with a practice record (how many different letters were delivered, how many were done without any mistake, and which of capitals, spaces, end marks and letters needed a check), the music and volume settings, and a button to start over.
Progress and the letter you were in the middle of are saved in your browser, on this device only. A physical keyboard works best; touch keyboards are not what the game is made for.

A few things worth knowing
Look at the example. The sentence you are copying stays on screen above the letter box, so nothing has to be memorized.
Mistakes are not punished. The wrong key shows a short warning and a gentle shake and does not cost anything.
The Mail Run letters that need fixing. Two letters arrive with the capital letter or the spaces missing. Fix them first, then send them.
Replays are fine. You can deliver a letter again, but a stamp is only earned for different letters.
Credits and licence
Sentence Post Office was made by the Keyboard Island contributors and is released under the MIT licence. The authors say the artwork and the scenes in the game are original to the project and were created with the help of AI tools, and that the sounds and music are generated in the browser; the game has no third-party images, fonts or audio files. It is served as the authors published it, with a few changes of ours: the text that was written in Chinese (the hints, the grown-ups panel and a few labels) was translated into English, the link back to the authors' own site was removed, and the page language was set to English, so that nothing is requested from other websites. The licence texts are linked from this page.
