About the game

Enemies march along a winding path from the top of the screen to your keep at the bottom, and your job is to stop them with towers placed beside the road. There are four kinds: the archer shoots quickly at one target, the cannon splashes a whole group, frost slows what it touches and tesla sends lightning that jumps from one enemy to the next. Gold earned for every kill pays for new towers and upgrades, and the best defence usually mixes all four.

Each map has twenty waves. Clear them to earn stars, then keep going in endless mode, or play the daily map, which is the same for everyone that day. It is one of a set of small games written by the author of Chogan with the help of AI tools; the graphics are drawn by the code and the sounds are generated while you play.

Playing it here

Click Play, choose a map and start. Pick a tower from the bar at the bottom, then tap or click a free spot beside the path to build it; tap a tower to upgrade or sell it. Press Start wave (or Space) to send the next wave, or turn on Auto and the speed control to move things along.

A few things worth knowing

Mix the towers. Frost slows a group so cannons and tesla hit more of it.

Build at the bends. A tower at a corner sees more of the path.

Do not spend everything early. Upgrades often beat one more weak tower.

Credits and licence

Tower Defence is part of Chogan by Chogan (choganhq), published under the MIT licence. The repository was written with the help of AI, and this page says so openly. Everything is drawn by the code and the sounds are generated on the fly; the only font is Vazirmatn (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The licence texts are linked from this page. We took out the app shell: this game opens on its own, with no app menu, sharing or league points, the language follows the site's (the Portuguese was translated by us) and nothing is requested from other sites.
