About the game

A long chain of coloured balls winds along a spiral groove toward a hole in the middle of the screen. In the middle sits your turret, loaded with a ball. Shoot it into the chain: if it lands next to two or more balls of its colour, they pop and the chain closes up behind the gap.

You win by clearing every ball before the head of the chain falls into the hole. The turret holds two balls and you can swap them, which is the way to set up chain reactions: when a gap closes and two matching groups meet, they pop together, and the combo scores more.

A few things worth knowing

Hit the front of the chain. Pushing it back buys the most time.

Set up combos. Leave a gap between two matching groups, then fill it with the same colour.

Swap, do not waste. If the ball in hand has no good target, swap to the other one.

Credits and licence

Zoomi is one of the games in LittleJS Arcade, a collection by Frank Force built on his open-source LittleJS engine and released under the MIT licence. The pictures are drawn in code and the sounds are synthesised, so the game has no image or audio files. The author's repository includes AI-assistant guidance files, so the collection was written with the help of AI tools. The licence text is linked from this page and the source code is on GitHub.
