About the game
Atom Clicker is an incremental game, the kind where numbers go up and each new number opens a new system. You start with a single atom and a click. A few clicks later you can afford a generator that makes atoms by itself, then another that makes more, and the list climbs from tiny molecules to massive cosmic entities, each tier producing more than the one before. Every 100 generators of the same kind level it up, and levelling a generator gives its output a boost.
Around that loop there are many layers. Upgrades make your clicks and your generators stronger. A skill tree turns the points you earn into permanent bonuses. Power-ups appear on the screen for a short time and stack their effects, and rare particles such as the Higgs boson give lasting rewards. Achievements and a level bar mark your progress, and the game can pay you for the time you were away. Automation unlocks as you go, so the generators and upgrades start buying themselves.
When progress slows down you can reset for power: Protonize, Electronize and Ionize turn your atoms into protons, electrons and a white light, each with boosts that make the next run faster. They also open two more places to play, the Photon realm, with violet circles to click and excited photons to find, and the Radiation realm, where you run a small reactor with control rods and watch your output.
Atom Clicker was made by Ayfri and is updated often. This copy is the offline version: the original also has accounts, a global leaderboard, a cloud save, a shop for a second currency called Quarks, daily quests and a community Collider, all of which depend on the author's server. Those parts were taken out of this version, and everything else is the same game, with the save kept in your browser.
Playing it here
Click Play, then click the atom in the middle. The numbers at the top show your atoms; the Generators panel on the right appears when you can afford the first one. The icons on the left bar open the skill tree, the boosts and the prestige screens as they unlock, and the gear at the bottom opens the Settings. Tips appear next to each new mechanic and can be turned off or replayed from Gameplay. The game saves by itself in this browser and also when you hide the tab; the Save tab of the Settings shows what is saved and has a hard reset. The game can run on a phone, with a bottom bar in place of the left one.

Tips
Buy a generator early. The first one pays for itself fast, and the game keeps earning while you look at something else.
Spend the skill points. The skill tree gives permanent bonuses, so it is worth opening each time a point is available.
Prestige when it slows down. Reset when the numbers stop growing, not before: each prestige earns more the further you got.
Catch the power-ups. They last a short time but stack, and they are worth a click.
FAQ
Does it need the internet? No. After the page has loaded, the game makes no requests to other sites.
Where is my progress? In this browser, on this device. Clearing the site data erases it, and there is no cloud save in this version.
Is the leaderboard there? No. Accounts, the leaderboard, cloud saves, Quarks and the Collider needed the author's server and were removed.
Why does the changelog mention features I cannot find? The changelog is the author's, and it also lists changes to the online parts.
Credits and licence
Atom Clicker was made by Ayfri and is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3. It is built with SvelteKit and Svelte 5 (MIT) and Tailwind CSS (MIT), and its icons are Lucide (ISC); the currency pictures are the author's own SVG drawings. Because it is under the GPL, the complete source of the version played here, with the patch that removes the online features and the services of third parties, the list of removed files and the build script, is linked from this page together with the licence texts.
