About the game

The board starts with a single block in the middle, and then it breeds. Every couple of seconds a new row or a new column of blocks is pushed in through the centre and the rest of the field moves outwards to make room, alternating between the two directions, so the pile grows from the heart of the board towards the edges in four colours: red, green, blue and yellow.

To clear it, tap a block that is joined to at least three others of its own colour, across or up and down, and the whole group disappears. The blocks around the hole close in again, which can bring new groups together. The score for a group is its size times a multiplier, and the multiplier goes up by one with every group you clear in a row, so chaining groups is how you score. The multiplier goes back to one whenever the field grows.

Mistakes cost you. Tapping a group that is too small loses a few points and makes the field grow twice, and so does tapping an empty spot, so a wild tap while waiting is a bad idea. The game ends when the 15 by 15 board is full. is one of the one-button mini-games that Kenta Cho, who works as ABA Games, makes with his crisp-game-lib library. There are no image or sound files: the graphics are drawn by the code, and the sound effects and music are generated while you play.

A few things worth knowing

Look for the big group. Groups score by their size and the multiplier, so wait until one is worth clearing.

Do not tap to be safe. A tap on a small group makes the field grow by two, which is worse than waiting for the next one to arrive.

Clear from the centre. New blocks always come from the middle, so a gap there lets the field grow with less pushing.
