About the game
A small red dinosaur has a snowboard and a hill, and not much else. In Dino Snowpark you ride down snowy slopes, launch yourself off the ramps and collect points for every jump, with extra points for the longer ones. Watch out for the bats: hitting one costs you 20 points.
The points are also your money. Between runs there is a shop where you can buy a faster board (three levels), a scarf that speeds you up, fireballs to fire ahead, an energy drink that gives your boost bar a second wind and a jetpack for one extra jump. A lift ticket takes you up to the next slope, and you have a limited number of them, so you choose which hills to ride and when to stop and shop. When the tickets are gone it is time for the last race, where your time decides the medal: gold, silver or bronze.
It was made in a few days for a jam, and it shows in a good way: the controls are simple, the slopes are short and the whole thing is about the feeling of speed and the small joke of a dinosaur snowboarding.

Click Play and wait for the game to load (about 17 MB, downloaded only when you press the button). Click once inside the game so that it gets the keyboard, then press Enter at the title screen. The first messages teach the controls. This version has no music, only the sound effects.

Tips
Ramps are worth the risk. A long jump gives many more points than a short one, so build up speed before the ramp.
Save the boost for the air. The boost bar refills as you ride; spending it just before a ramp gets you the longest jumps.
Mind the tickets. Every slope costs tickets, and the farther one is, the more it costs. Do not use them all before you have bought what you need for the last race.
FAQ
Does it work on a phone? The game needs a keyboard.
Is my progress saved? No, every session starts over.
Why is there no music? The original music was made with a sound font whose licence we could not confirm, so this version leaves it out. The sound effects are the author's own.

Dino Snowpark was made by m7rk for Open Jam 2020 under the title "Jurassic Snowpark", which we changed to avoid a likeness to a well-known film title and runs on Godot Engine 3.2.2, the version the author used. This version leaves out the music, renames the game on the title screen and changes nothing else. The licence texts, including the notices of the libraries inside the Godot engine, and the source of this build are linked from this page.
