About the game
A small black square sits on the wall of a grey box. A blue line sweeps back and forth from it, pointing across the box. Tap and the square leaps along the line, crosses the box, lands on another wall and clings there while the line starts to swing again.
Yellow blocks of different sizes slide across the screen from the outside, passing through the box. Touching one with the square, or with the blue trail it leaves behind it as it flies, collects it and scores your multiplier, which then goes up by one. But every jump halves the multiplier again, so the best runs collect several blocks in one flight and do not jump more than they have to.
A yellow block that slides out of the screen without being caught turns red and comes back the other way, and every now and then a red block is sent straight at you. A red block that touches the square itself ends the game. The blue trail is safe to touch, though: a red block that runs into the trail is simply collected.
Jump in Box is one of the mini-games that Kenta Cho, who works as ABA Games, makes with his crisp-game-lib library. There are no image or sound files: the graphics are drawn by the code, and the sound effects and music are generated while you play.

A few things worth knowing
Plan the flight. The aiming line swings continuously, so wait until it points through the blocks you want, then tap.
Do not jump for nothing. Each jump cuts the multiplier in half, so one jump that picks up three blocks beats three jumps that pick up one each.
Use the trail. The fading blue streak behind the square counts as part of you when it comes to collecting blocks, even red ones.
