About the game

You drive a getaway car through a grid of city blocks, leaving tyre tracks behind you. Patrol cars that find your tracks follow them exactly, turn for turn, so your route becomes theirs. Cross your own tracks just ahead of the line, or double back after a junction, and the line runs into itself: every car still following the tracks drives into the wreck.

Each district has a quota of police cars to wreck. When it is met, the exits in the middle of the four walls open, and the exit you pick is your route: each leads to the neighbouring district on that side, and driving out of one on the outer ring escapes the city. The label beside each exit shows where it leads and what pileups pay there. There are five districts to cross. You can reverse instantly, but a wreck kills you the same as it kills them, and each wreck changes the maze for nine seconds.

The ready and got-away screens show the whole city map.

A few things worth knowing

Your path is their path. Think about the route as a line you are drawing for the police to follow.

Loops and figure-eights. Looping round a block or doubling back after a junction folds the line into itself.

Choose your exit. The exit labels show what a pileup pays in each neighbouring district.

Questions

Can I reverse? Yes, instantly, but a wreck is deadly to you too.

Does it work on a phone? Yes, swipe to steer.
