About the game
Columns of three jewels fall into a narrow well, one after another. You move a column left and right, and you can cycle the order of its three jewels. When it lands, any line of three or more jewels of the same kind, whether across, up and down or diagonal, disappears, and whatever sits above it falls down and may form new lines.
Those chain reactions are where the big scores come from. The well keeps filling up, the columns fall faster as your level rises, and the game ends when the stack reaches the top. A preview shows the next column, and a ghost column shows where yours will land.

A few things worth knowing
Use the diagonals. Most players only watch rows and columns, so diagonals are free combos.
Keep the middle low. A tall stack in the centre leaves less room to steer.
Plan for chains. Clear from the bottom so the pieces above fall into new lines.
Credits and licence
Pillars is one of the games in LittleJS Arcade, a collection by Frank Force built on his open-source LittleJS engine and released under the MIT licence. The pictures are drawn in code and the sounds are synthesised, so the game has no image or audio files. The author's repository includes AI-assistant guidance files, so the collection was written with the help of AI tools. The licence text is linked from this page and the source code is on GitHub.
