About the game

In Slime Attack a princess is stranded in a field, and a hole in the ground keeps sending out slimes that wander blindly towards any food they can find, which includes her. You do not fight them with a sword. You rebuild the landscape and use magic.

Every level has three rounds, and every round has two phases. In the build phase you spend your coins on fences, and the only rule is that you cannot wall the princess in completely, so the slimes must always have some way to reach her. Use the fences to turn a short walk into a long one, because slimes cannot cross water or climb over objects. When you click Start, the action phase begins and the slimes pour out of the hole. Now you have three spells (water, ice and fire), each with its own damage and its own mana cost, and mana refills slowly by itself, so you have to choose your moment. A spell hurts every slime inside its circle, which makes a crowd the best target.

Two extra tools make it interesting. A bait placed on the field draws the slimes, who take a bite and carry it home, leaving a trail that leads the others to the same spot, so it is a way to herd them together before a spell. And some slimes drop coins when they die, which you can collect for the next build phase.

There is also a Create mode, where you paint your own map with grass, water, the princess and the slime hole, play it straight away and save it as text that you can paste back later.

Tips

Make the path long. Fences cost one coin each, so use them to build a zig-zag in front of the princess instead of a single line.

Aim at groups. A spell hurts everything in its circle, so wait for the slimes to bunch up.

Keep a bait for the end. A bait close to the princess is a last line of defence that keeps the slimes busy while your mana recovers.
