About the game

Nights are hard in Neo Sushi City and everyone is hungry. You play Hitsuji-kun, a sheep who delivers sushi, and the streets are full of gaps and brick walls that you cannot just walk over. What you have is a grappling hook: throw it at a ceiling, hang from it, swing, reel yourself in or out and let go at the right moment to fly over the next obstacle. A counter at the bottom shows how much time you have left and how many hungry customers are waiting.

Find the sushi, get it to the clients before the clock runs out and pick up the rope power-up for a better hook. Several levels follow, and the hook makes the movement feel closer to a physics toy than to a normal platformer.

Playing it here

This is a homebrew game made for the Game Boy: a new game by independent developers, not a commercial release. It runs here in binjgb, a Game Boy emulator compiled to WebAssembly. Click Play now, wait for the title screen and press Enter. F2 saves the emulator state in this browser and F4 brings it back.

A few things worth knowing

Swing before you let go. The farther the swing, the farther you fly, so build speed with a few passes.

Shorten the rope to go up. Reeling in lifts you toward the anchor, which is how you reach high platforms.

Do not wait. The timer starts as soon as the level does.
